WATER PROOFING ADMIXTURE FOR PAVING BLOCKS, TILES AND BRICKS

VARAPROOF IWP POWDERis a specially designed blend of surface active waterproofing aids and integral synergistically active chemicals. VARAPROOF IWP POWDER helps achieve the desired water tightness in paving blocks, tiles and bricks with its dual action by reducing mix water requirements and migration of its surface active ingredients towards the surface.

Uses

VARAPROOF IWP POWDER is recommended to be used in paving blocks, tiles and bricks manufacturing. It can be used in the sand lime brick mix. It can also be used in high strength blocks such as Interlock, Paving Blocks, and Kerbstones etc. VARAPROOF IWP POWDER provides good degree of water tightness and water repellant properties to tiles and bricks. It is highly recommended for controlling or eliminating efflorescence in tiles and bricks which are laid on damp or moist substrates.

  • Chloride free: No added chlorides.
  • Compatibility with Cements: Can be used with all types of Portland cements including sulphate resisting cement.

VARAPROOF IWP POWDER is supplied in 25kg bags.
STORAGE - VARAPROOF IWP POWDER should be protected from extremes of temperature. VARAPROOF IWP POWDER has a minimum shelf life of 12 months provided temperature is kept within the range 2o C to 30o C.
